Course Outline
The most successful full-arch implant cases begin not in the operatory, but with a general dentist who understands the desired end result before the first implant is placed. This course introduces the All-on-X workflow through the lens of collaboration, demonstrating how the general dentist defines the prosthetic vision through facial analysis and occlusal principles, presents that vision to the patient, coordinates with the surgical partner, and guides the case from treatment planning through final delivery.
Using a complete patient case as the teaching framework, participants will learn how restoratively driven design determines implant position and how in-office 3D printing can accelerate and enhance the workflow — from diagnostic models and surgical guides to printed provisionals. The course will also highlight how a well-structured patient consultation builds trust and increases case acceptance, making this treatment possible. Whether you fully refer the surgical phase or participate in implant placement, this course will equip you to lead the conversation, direct the design, and confidently deliver full-arch implant treatment within your practice.
Learning Objectives
- Describe how facial analysis and occlusal design principles establish the prosthetic blueprint that guides implant positioning, surgical collaboration, and patient presentation in the All-on-X workflow
- Identify the restorative clinician's role at each phase of treatment — from diagnosis and patient consultation through surgical communication and provisionalization — and explain how in-office 3D printing supports each stage of that process
- Outline the prosthetic workflow from definitive records to final delivery, including material selection, laboratory communication, and the criteria used to evaluate a completed full-arch case
